SMART CPR POLISH AND BUFFING PROCESS:
When we polish a car, preparation is the ultimate key to achieving that amazing deep car paint shine. It doesn’t matter what type of wonderful wax you have and the promises it claims on how it will transform your car paint work, you will not create that perfect finish unless you put in the time preparing your car paint work properly. We reckon that this is the longest part of the whole polishing process.
There are two key stages in proper preparation of your paint work.
Stage one consists of removing any of those contaminants which have become firmly bonded to the surface of the paint with tar removers and detailing clay. This will leave the surface of the paint feeling perfectly smooth.
Stage two sees us removing sub-surface defects sitting just below the paint work surface. We remove these with a combination of wet sanding and our Sprayless Scratch Repair system.
When all preparation work is complete and the cars paint work is free of all the heavy surface contaminants we are ready to start the waxing process.
We firstly remove any minor defects still left on the paint work using a pre-wax cleaner. What we now want is to be left with a completely clean, contaminant free paint surface that is ready for protection. At this stage your car will already be looking amazing without the final coat of wax.
On the final stage we use carnuba wax. This wax is applied all over the car and left to dry. It is then removed using microfiber clothes to reveal a deep better than showroom shine.
The very final stage is for you, the customer, to fall in love again with your car…
